His varied background and expertise makes him a perfect “One-Stop Shop” for projects that require strong visual and audio design, as well as interactivity and programming. Example 1: Building Contractor Website ROLE: Web design, concept and programming OBJECTIVE: A local builder/remodeler needed an easily accessible site showcasing his work that included 100’s of photographs, many with before and after images. RESULT: An interactive Flash-based site with an extensive “Gallery” section showing groupings of images organized by project type. Each photo group can be clicked to “unfold” and zoom out for closer inspection as descriptive text appears. Clicking on individual photos results zooms the image out further and can include interactive “before and after” animations. |

Example 2: Independent Record Label Website ROLE: Logo and identity materials creation, interactive web design, concept and programming, audio editing. OBJECTIVE: The creation of a web site to introduce and market a record label specializing in the relatively new genre of “Sound Healing” music. RESULT: A site with interactivity, animation and audio. Viewers can navigate to information about Sound Healing, bios of the founders, a film strip showing the group’s facilities, and an artists’ page with interactive audio players and bios for each artist. |

Example 3: Professional Therapist Website ROLE: Interactive web design, concept and programming, audio editing. OBJECTIVE: The creation of a web site for a multi-disciplined Psychotherapist and Life Coach using various images and audio supplied by the client. RESULT: A site with a three-dimensional effect set up like an art gallery, facilitating the multiple images in an organized manner. Users can "move" through gallery as well as jump to specific areas. Audio of hammered dulcimer and tibetan crystal bowls were edited together to produce a background sound track. |

Example 4: Site for New York state area Shaman ROLE: Interactive web design, concept and programming, original artwork and animation, audio soundtrack editing, Interactive client-updateable Flash-based calendar, Flash video formatting. OBJECTIVE: The creation of a web site for a New York state area Shaman offering services in the form of group retreats, one-on-one sessions, and workshops. The client wanted to use the symbol of the Black Jaguar as a design base. Multiple pictures of events, a film-short and background music was to be included. RESULT: The original "pen and ink" and black spot animated effect in the intro was created to introduce the site and to figure prominently in the layout. Multiple pictures were used as "running slide shows" throughout the site that are expandable to see more detail. The Flash FLV format was used on the film short. A custom Flash interactive calendar was created specifically for the site. Calendar listings are dynamically-linked to text files that are editible by the client. |

Example 1: Animated Introduction for Powerpoint presentation. ROLE: Flash interface designer and programmer, storyboard creation, voice-over script preparation and editing, Co-director of voice-over recording sessions, Composer, performer and recording engineer for original music soundtrack. OBJECTIVE: The creation of an animated introduction for on-site presentations for MasterCard’s ATM Locator technology. RESULTS: A short demo with voiceover, original music and animated visuals was created. The file provided an introduction and overview of the service and then automatically launched a PowerPoint presentation that was controlled by the on-site representative. The file was also used as a stand-alone advertisement. |

Example 2: Promotional Presentation for New Company Product. ROLE: Flash designer and programmer, storyboard creation, voice-over script preparation and editing, Director of voice-over recording sessions, Composer, performer and recording engineer for original music soundtrack. OBJECTIVE: The creation of a promotional Flash presentation for MasterCard’s Mobile Information technology. RESULTS: A descriptive "info" presentation with voiceover, original music and animated visuals was created. The file was formatted for authoring to CD-ROM as well as on-line use. |

Example 3: Interactive Computer-Based Training Module ROLE: Interface designer and programmer, storyboard creation, voice-over script preparation and editing, Co-director of voice-over recording sessions. OBJECTIVE: The creation of a CD-ROM-type product for the purpose of teaching a new proprietary software that MasterCard International was offering its member banks. RESULTS: A Flash-authored CD-ROM was created teaching the banking software with an interactive recreation of the software interface, voice-over supported by visuals and screen text, and deep but unobtrusive navigation to all parts of the module. A comprehensive and detailed section structure for Overview, “How It Works”, “Now You Try It”, and Summary was employed in the design and flow. |

Example 4: On-line (Intranet) Advertisement ROLE: Flash designer OBJECTIVE: Creation of an on-line advertisement of new features for a company-wide intranet site. File size had to be kept to less than 1MB. RESULTS: A 90-second animation showing a “test drive” of the new features using screen captures and descriptive screen text. No audio was used so file size was kept to 86KB. |
